Vrindavan Heritage Tower continues its commitment to uplifting the rural communities of Braj through a series of child-focused educational, cultural, and value-enriching initiatives. As part of these ongoing efforts, our “Kids of Braj” team organized a guided and immersive visit to the sacred Surya Kund in Bharna Khurd, accompanied by their dedicated mentors and volunteers.
This educational excursion provided the children with a unique opportunity to step out of their daily routine and experience Braj’s living heritage firsthand. They learned about the historical and spiritual significance of Surya Kund, listened to stories connected with the region, and discovered how these ancient sites continue to inspire faith and devotion today.
The mentors facilitated interactive sessions that encouraged curiosity and hands-on learning, while the children enthusiastically took part in sankirtan, group games, and reflective activities designed to build confidence and teamwork. The participation of local children and devotees further enriched the atmosphere, nurturing a sense of community, togetherness, and shared cultural pride.
The journey concluded with the distribution of prasadam, leaving the young participants nourished, joyful, and deeply connected to the heritage of their homeland. For many of them, this short trip became a memorable experience — one that blends learning, devotion, and the timeless beauty of Braj.
Here is a glimpse into this meaningful and heartwarming educational journey.
