Swachh Vrindavan Abhiyaan at Keshi Ghat and Chir Ghat

Vrindavan Heritage Tower and Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir recently organised a cleanliness drive at Keshi Ghat and Chir Ghat in Sridham Vrindavan as part of their ongoing Swachh Vrindavan Abhiyaan. The initiative aimed to promote cleanliness and support the preservation of Vrindavan’s sacred spaces, historic ghats, and rich cultural heritage.

The drive was conducted in the gracious presence of His Holiness Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji, Head Pontiff of Pejawara Matha, Udupi. His presence added spiritual significance to the initiative, which brought together volunteers, devotees, and members of the local community in a shared effort to care for Vrindavan’s historic surroundings.

Keshi Ghat and Chir Ghat hold an important place in the cultural and spiritual landscape of Vrindavan. As part of the town’s historic riverfront, these sacred locations are closely connected with its devotional traditions and heritage. Maintaining their cleanliness is an important step towards preserving their sanctity, protecting their surroundings, and ensuring that future generations can continue to experience their cultural and spiritual significance.

Through the Swachh Vrindavan Abhiyaan, Vrindavan Heritage Tower and Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir seek to encourage collective responsibility towards cleanliness and heritage conservation. The participation of volunteers, devotees, and community members reflected the spirit of seva, demonstrating how individual contributions and community action can help care for shared sacred spaces.

The cleanliness drive at Keshi Ghat and Chir Ghat represents a continued commitment to keeping Vrindavan clean while preserving the timeless character of its historic and spiritual landmarks. By bringing people together through initiatives such as Swachh Vrindavan Abhiyaan, Vrindavan Heritage Tower and Vrindavan Chandrodaya Mandir aim to support a cleaner, more responsible, and heritage-conscious Vrindavan.

Preserving Vrindavan’s legacy requires not only cherishing its spiritual traditions but also caring for the places that sustain them. Through continued community participation and collective service, these efforts contribute to safeguarding the sanctity and beauty of Sri Vrindavan Dham for generations to come.
